Job Description

Quality Control (Metal Solutions)

Hours:  2:30pm – 11pm (M-F)

Pay:  $19.50 + $1.00 Shift Premium

Drug Test Required

 

Position Summary:

  • Experience using a tape measure or other measuring equipment

  • Must have computer experience – Microsoft Office products and web-based software

  • Ability/Experience with reading design prints (blueprints) and comparing that to physical production

  • This is NOT a desk job!

 

Responsible for inspection and audits of products to ensure alignment with quality standards. Comply with Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure customer satisfaction.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Inspect products (in process and finished goods) and document findings as required.

2. Support plant personnel on daily quality concerns/risks and effectively communicate concerns to all applicable personnel and leadership.

3. Work in a safe and efficient manner using all proper personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, following Menasha Values of Safety, Quality and Productivity (always and in that order).

4. Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other software.

5. Willing to work alternate shifts as needed and be familiar with all job tasks in the department.

6. Support Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain all CI, 5S and STW activities.

7. Maintain a safe and clean workspace.

8. Other duties as assigned.

The employee must have the physical capabilities to do repetitious work for up to 10 hours/shift. Work Environment Warehouse environment Strength Guidelines The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds. Vision/Hearing Requirements Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
