Job Description

Chase Staffing is currently hiring a Quality Technician in the White, GA area.


Swing Shift: 6:00am – 6:30pm OR 6:00pm – 6:30am

Schedule: two days on, two days off

Pay rate: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour



RESPONSIBILITIES

Incoming Quality Control & Inspection

  • Inspect samples of incoming materials for accuracy and quality.
  • Carefully handle thin, fragile wafers and materials to prevent damage.
  • Follow standardized work instructions and inspection procedures at all times.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Draft and complete Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Record, organize, and maintain inspection results using Excel and SAP systems.
  • Produce clear and accurate documentation of inspection findings and verification results.

Equipment & Tool Verification

  • Verify and confirm the accuracy of inspection machines and measurement tools.
  • Support calibration and verification processes as required.

Production Support & Team Collaboration

  • Support fellow technicians during breaks and assist with coverage across work areas as needed.
  • Work collaboratively in a multicultural, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Maintain flexibility to support shifting production priorities.

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all company environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies.
  • Wear all required PPE including gloves, safety glasses, and cleanroom attire.
  • Maintain strict compliance with all Qcells procedures and quality standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform visual inspections for extended periods.
  • Basic computer skills including data entry in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
  • Ability to safely handle thin, fragile, and delicate materials.
  • Strong focus, reliability, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to work irregular schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to wear required PPE at all times in a cleanroom environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to stand and remain on feet for up to 12 hours per shift.
  • Ability to visually monitor screens for extended periods (up to 12 hours total per shift).
  • Ability to produce clear handwritten documentation.
  • Ability to reach into equipment, totes, or stacked materials as needed.
  • SAP experience is a plus, but not required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Manufacturing and cleanroom environment with exposure to noise, chemicals, and automated equipment.
  • Frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, and occasional stooping.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining precision and quality standards.
  • Requires consistent use of PPE including gloves, safety glasses, and cleanroom-approved attire.
  • Must be able to safely handle fragile materials without damage.
