Job Description

Main Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Provides production support through documented process set-ups, monitoring and adjustments.
  • Troubleshoots tooling, and materials for samples and production.
  • Supports new product launch activities through process validation, part cost justification, packaging and control plans.
  • Leads projects within the business cells to justify, select, purchase, install and start-up new tooling and equipment.
  • Focus on reducing costs of existing product through labor/machine efficiency, scrap reduction, etc.
  • Promotes safety, environmental and ergonomic projects.
  • Strong technical abilities in a variety of manufacturing disciplines.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Reviews and estimates new RFQ for all EK plants in North America
  • Preform strip layouts and process plans
  • Travel to suppliers for run offs of tool acceptance.


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field required or 8 years or more professional relevant experience.
  • Need to have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Computer skills with Excel, Word, SolidWorks and Autoform
