100% REMOTE - Vice President of Sales/Piedmont, SC – Textile Experience a HUGE PLUS! (Person will go in on Thursday for meetings)

Pay Rate: $100K or $125K - DIRECT HIRE

 

Will travel within us and abroad – Vietnam, Slovakia – headquarters is in Germany – first few months heavy to meet customers, then about 25% later on; all expenses paid

Would consider anyone that has worked for Carolina webbing, Murdock, Tape Craft, Ribbon Webbing

 

Summary: Manages sales activities. Collaborate closely with the General Manager to ensure that all company goals are achieved.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish Piedmont sales forecast with the input of the sales team.

  • Coordinate the activities of the sales team to ensure that all accounts are managed properly and that individual forecasts are achieved or exceeded.

  • Assign sales team members to participate in various trade associations to ensure that company is represented at their meetings.

  • Maintain and strengthen customer relationships through professional sales calls, site visits and consistent follow-up.

  • Develop, analyze, qualify, and manage prospective accounts.

  • Establish rapport with customer base to close on new accounts and ensure retention of existing accounts; develop and maintain key contacts and buying influences at all levels.

  • Understand competitive activity in the area including the strengths and weaknesses of the competition; analyze the market to develop competitor profiles.

  • Learn products, manufacturing process and capabilities to be a knowledgeable resource to customer contacts and accurately set expectations.

  • Proactively manage customer projects to ensure customer expectations are understood and met, including championing product development activities, conducting trials, and following up on customer requests.

  • Collaborate closely with the customer service team and plant management to investigate and resolve customer issues and/or requirements.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Current driver’s license and US Passport required.

  • Use of Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Must be able to travel as needed.
