100% REMOTE - Vice President of Sales/Piedmont, SC – Textile Experience a HUGE PLUS! (Person will go in on Thursday for meetings)
Pay Rate: $100K or $125K - DIRECT HIRE
Will travel within us and abroad – Vietnam, Slovakia – headquarters is in Germany – first few months heavy to meet customers, then about 25% later on; all expenses paid
Would consider anyone that has worked for Carolina webbing, Murdock, Tape Craft, Ribbon Webbing
Summary: Manages sales activities. Collaborate closely with the General Manager to ensure that all company goals are achieved.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Establish Piedmont sales forecast with the input of the sales team.
Coordinate the activities of the sales team to ensure that all accounts are managed properly and that individual forecasts are achieved or exceeded.
Assign sales team members to participate in various trade associations to ensure that company is represented at their meetings.
Maintain and strengthen customer relationships through professional sales calls, site visits and consistent follow-up.
Develop, analyze, qualify, and manage prospective accounts.
Establish rapport with customer base to close on new accounts and ensure retention of existing accounts; develop and maintain key contacts and buying influences at all levels.
Understand competitive activity in the area including the strengths and weaknesses of the competition; analyze the market to develop competitor profiles.
Learn products, manufacturing process and capabilities to be a knowledgeable resource to customer contacts and accurately set expectations.
Proactively manage customer projects to ensure customer expectations are understood and met, including championing product development activities, conducting trials, and following up on customer requests.
Collaborate closely with the customer service team and plant management to investigate and resolve customer issues and/or requirements.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Current driver’s license and US Passport required.
Use of Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Must be able to travel as needed.
