Stage flatbed trailers safely in the plant yard. Strapping, adjusting and securing loaded trailers. Requires commercial drivers' license.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.

• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.

• Making sure that loads are strapped and secured properly.

• Report vehicle defects or damage to the vehicles.

• Maintain daily checks and organization of the yard.

• Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.

• Inventory and inspect goods to be moved to determine quantities and conditions

• Other duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• CDL Class A License required.

• Current MVR required. Clean 3 year MVR.

• 2+years previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience.

• Regularly required to sit and drive.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must regularly lift up to 50 pounds.

• Regularly required to walk, stand, and bend.
